- tennis is taught throughout the school year
- in the autumn and spring terms there are team sessions run outside of curriculum time
- tennis is also offered to pupils from year 10 upwards as an option in their Games lessons
- st Swithun’s is seeking to appoint committed and enthusiastic PE teacher who will be our head of tennis but also can teach other key sports especially netball
- the appointee will coach and manage team practices after school as well as help run fixtures on weekdays and weekends
- in Summer term, every pupil will have the option to play tennis within their curriculum lessons and the teams sessions continue into this term
