SOUTH WEST METAL FINISHING is looking for employees for positions:
quality engineer
Responsibility
- to ensure both raw and finished products are compliant with customer specifications, regulations, manuals, procedures and in-line with company policies
- liaising with customers on relevant issues with processing of parts
- work closely with the Product Assurance Manager, Site Manager, Inspector/s, the AQP/booking in team and operations to support problem solving activities
- lead the internal Material Review Board Meetings integrating both engineering and operations within the decision-making process
- sign off relevant parts of the control of change at Paint Division when required
- work with other key departments as and when required
- raising and rejection of internal & external non-conformances
- conducting of internal audits, including raising and assistance in closing non-conformance’s, support with external audits
Requirements
- minimum of 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
- hands on experience working in a Quality Engineering role
- beneficial to have worked within an aerospace environment
- knowledge of aerospace approvals
- quality assurance: 1 year
