Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- setting and operating 3 axis milling machines to required tolerances
- prove out new programs, edit as necessary, Use of Fanuc controls
- tool setting on CNC machines. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- use of manual measuring equipment. Loading and unloading parts onto machines. Tapping and deburring where required
- cleanliness of workstations during and at the end of their shift
- ensure compliance with Health and Safety within their own and their colleagues' working environment
- help and assist other members of the milling cell when required Complete basic maintenance & upkeep of machines
- following daily work to lists or as instructed by Team Leader
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
- able to use Hurco Winmax control
- able to use conversational and Fanuc controls
- 3-5 years of experience in programming CNC’s to run on specific tool paths
- knowledgeable in One CNC software
- ability to read drawings, and specifications
- ability to understand dimensioning and tolerances
