Responsibility
monitor the Depot Parts Departments performance relative to parts turnover, stock management and expense control, in line with the company’s objectives
ensures the maintenance of the Depot Parts Department equipment and facilities
works closely with the Depot Salesman and Service Manager to ensure maximum business efficiency and customer satisfaction
ensures efficient goods in/out processing and accurate stock management
ensures viable and realistic stock levels of goods at all times
promotes and sells parts and/or services to meet customer needs
maximises the use of all order discount programmes to achieve management stock order goals and submits all parts warranty and return claims within the required time-frame
takes responsibility for resolution of disputes/issues, seeing them through to conclusion
Requirements
comfortable using standard Microsoft packages
proficient user of the IBCOS GOLD system
ability to produce, analyse and interpret internal and external reports and data
excellent customer relationship skills
ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
ability to deal with customer enquiries by telephone, face to face and email etc
able to cover the core hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and 8am-midday on Saturdays along with the ability to work extended hours during peak seasonal periods, along with provide cover at other Depots as and when required
