Responsibility
- oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clinic, including scheduling, staffing, and ensuring adequate resources are available for client care
- manage a team of nurses, providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance as needed to ensure they are able to deliver high-quality care
- to create a caring and supportive environment for Residents whilst encouraging maximum independence

- rutledge Recruitment are currently recruiting Registered nurses for our clients based in the Derry area, these positions will be based in various private settings
- collaborate with the medical team, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care
- to establish and maintain all records which have been identified as necessary by Home and other regulating bodies
- rates of pay vary from £25.00 per hour there are enhanced rates of pay for night duty, weekend work and public holidays
- ensure that Client records are accurate, complete, and secure
- observe and report on the condition of Residents and maintain resident records accurately in line with minimum standards
- we have an urgent need for part time or full time workers. These posts will start immediately after relevant checks are completed
- manage inventory and ordering of supplies, ensuring that adequate stock is maintained at all times
- to review and evaluate these records and report factually to appropriate agencies as required
- keep up-to-date with the latest advances in IV, Hyperbaric and Cryo therapies and ensure that the clinic is implementing best practices
- to establish and develop a working relationship with the external multidisciplinary teams and professionals
- supervision of professional work of all staff
- to liaise with and co-operate with RQIA inspectors and with their inspections
- manage budget and financial reporting for the Clinic, ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently
- to ensure that all the Home’s policies are up-to -date and that the policies and procedures are fully understood and properly implemented by staff
- to ensure that flexible visiting arrangements are maintained and that a welcoming relaxed atmosphere exists for family and friends
- to organise, in conjunction with Residents and staff, appropriate social activities
- to ensure strict adherence to the Home’s Health and Safety Policy and COSHH regulations
- ensure that the clinic is compliant with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to health and safety, infection control, and privacy and confidentiality
- follow the Associations complaints policy on receipt of any complaint made by a resident or on behalf of a resident
- conducting medication rounds
- complete CSA audits on a monthly basis, highlighting any issues with Nurse Manager
Requirements
- registered Adult Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- minimum of three years post registration experience in adult nursing
- minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role

- have 2 years previous management experience in a Care Home, and hold a relevant management qualification

- strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- must be a register Nurse with active NMC registration
- must be currently registered on the Nursing & Midwifery Council
- ability to manage a team of nurses, providing leadership and guidance as needed
- have a background in person-centred care planning
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- have experience in leading a team to deliver care
- excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- ability to communicate with others in a kind and considerate manner
- comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- willing to complete an Enhanced Access NI check
- demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal professional development
- must be highly motivated and experienced nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality care
