  • excellent written, mathematical and verbal communication skills
  • fully conversant with engineering drawings and able to work to tight tolerances
  • sound working knowledge of quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations
  • able to check parts using engineering measuring equipment
  • experience in using a CMM an advantage
  • ability to meet production targets and follow a ‘work to’ list and follow work instructions
