cnc machinist
Responsibility
- we are currently looking for a Trainee CNC Machinist to join our team and strengthen our workforce for the future
- ideally the candidate would already have experience operating and setting CNC machinery, preferably with FANUC controls
- learning how to set up and machine one off components on our multi-million-pound CNC gantry milling machines
- creating, setting and measuring state of the art tooling used on the CNC machinery
- operating our five large overhead cranes which can lift up to 50 tonnes
- conforming and assisting with the upkeep of our health and safety legislation
- understanding CNC programs and amending information within them
- learning and advancing skills whilst operating a Fanuc control system
Education
- certificate of Higher Education
Requirements
- CNC Milling Machinist: 2 years
