Working hours

Responsibility

  • to head a team of teaching assistants leading on an area within the AEPC
  • to support all staff in relentlessly pursuing high quality teaching and learning and the provision of students with ASC working with in the Albert Einstein Preston Centre and those with SEND across the whole school
  • to work closely with the SENCo and Deputy SENCo/AEPC Lead to support a whole school approach to ASC as well as supporting other school leaders to undertake a range of activities to support the students with special educational needs
  • to be a champion for SEND
  • to work as part of a team overseeing the development of Personalise Learning Intention Maps for students attending the AEPC, along with the internal moderation of these documents ensuring they are effective, highly personalised and explicitly linked to a students EHCP
  • to plan and deliver interventions
  • to work on a one-to-one basis or a small group situation supporting students learning and progress across the curriculum
  • to provide reports to inform Annual SEN Audit, Annual reviews, Annual Reviews, and parents evening as directed
