Responsibility
business support to Rest of World social work team as required
arrange and maintain records of movements/travel arrangements for social work staff
oversight of expenses prior to them being authorised as directed by the line manager
maintenance of efficient office management systems, ensuring that standard operating procedures and policy guidelines are adhered to
preparation of reports and correspondence as necessary
minute-taking at meetings as necessary
ensure systems are in place to contribute to the capture of the workflow of social work and to generate required, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as directed by the line manager
ensure annual leave, sickness, and other HR records are maintained for all staff and recorded on a database. To monitor and process staff sick absence as necessary
Requirements
awareness and understanding of the Case Management System and other IT systems
be able to work as part of a Team and independently
have good organisation skills, be able to prioritise and manage own workload, and produce documents to a high standard
an ability to maintain confidentiality and understanding of the Data Protection Act & GDPR
flexibility to travel, plus overnights as required
have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people, both internally to the business and externally. The successful candidate will need to have a high standard of verbal and written communication
