Requirements

bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A qualified chartered accountant
in-depth experience at a senior level of financial management
proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
proficiency in using financial management software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

Responsibility

12. Review the technical accounting performed by the team such as monthly VAT returns and leasing
15. To provide leadership support to the Assistant Director of Operational Finance on the delivery of a programme of financial education and development to the wider organisation
establish and monitor the standards required for management of the balance sheet and cash flow, including overall cash & liquidity management and debt management
coordinate the monthly reporting of balance sheet performance to the Trust Board, ensuring the Trust accurately reports performance against key targets
continually monitor issues around appropriate internal controls
