Responsibility
- prepare high-quality sandwiches according to MOR Bakery's standards
- manage all aspects of the cooking process for our menu items, including the preparation of fresh focaccia and bacon sandwiches
- maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- assist with bakery duties such as bread and pastry preparation as needed
- adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements
- previous experience in a bakery, café or restaurant environment is highly desirable but training can be provided
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and remain calm under pressure
- ability to multitask
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- passion for baking and good food, with a keen interest in maintaining high quality and service standards
- able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Day shifts only
- food handling certification is a plus
