Responsibility
- performing internal and external cleaning of emergency vehicles in adherence to Infection Prevention Control standards
- conducting daily and deep cleans cleans as required to ensure vehicles are sanitised and safe for use
- restocking medical consumable stores on emergency vehicles to ensure that each shift begins with a full load of essential supplies
- monitoring and managing the inventory of medical consumables to prevent shortages
- undertaking set vehicle roadworthiness checks to identify and report any issues promptly
- ensuring the safe and reliable operation of emergency vehicles
- performing safety and functional checks on onboard equipment, both medical and non-medical, to ensure their proper operation
- reporting any equipment defects or issues for timely repair or replacement
Requirements
- valid UK Manual driver's licence for 12 months
- basic Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards
- comfortable working in varying weather conditions
- attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness
- ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- basic computer skills for stock tracking and incident reporting
