Responsibility
- we are looking to hire a personable Bookkeeper/Administrator and Receptionist
- compilation and maintenance of an information asset register for the practice to include all key information, software, hardware and services
- supporting human resource management including staff inductions, team meetings and staff rota management
- CQC compliance including maintaining practice policies and General Data Protection Regulations and security
- implementation and maintenance of Clinical governance and practice policies including Health and Safety and conducting all required audits
- assisting with the handling of patient queries/complaints and replies
- the work will include the recording of all income of the practice to Sage, administration and payment of monthly payroll, the processing and payment of supplier invoices, bank reconciliation, maintenance of petty cash, reconciliation between Sage and dental software, maintenance of spreadsheets for PAYE for payment to HMRC and year end return, preparation of annual accounting information for the practice Accountants, stock control and ordering of supplies for surgeries and other associated administration procedures
- receptionist duties will include that dental patients’ appointments are appropriately scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled, depending on the needs of the patients
Requirements
- bookkeeping and accounting experience is essential
- good communication, numeracy and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- to be able to work in a small team as well as the ability to work to deadlines
- accounting: 5 years
- bookkeeping: 5 years
