- maintain a service due/completed whiteboard on a daily basis
- ensure that ops stats report input is accurate and amended when route changes take place
Requirements
- skills in numeracy, literacy, and good computer skills are a given in this role
- A strong team player you must have acquired experience in a modern transport environment where the emphasis is on high standards of delivery of a high-quality customer service
- applicants must be self-motivated, able to prioritise workloads and demonstrate the commitment to team and personal self-development
- A sound working knowledge of transport planning & management systems, road transport regulations good geographical understanding of coast efficient collections/distribution is essential
- provide leadership and deploy management skills to effectively deploy all available resources including staff and vehicles ensuring a cost effective and efficient operation is maintained
- holder of a Class 1 Licence would be desirable but not essential
- ability and eagerness to accept responsibility for all depot activities which happen during the shift, to recognise basic problems and implement good fit solutions using your own initiative
- A CPC will give your application an added advantage but at this stage it is not essential
