motor mechanic
Responsibility
- dealing with our customers, explaining work that needs to be done on their vehicles and quoting accordingly
- conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes and tyre rotations
- diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of vehicles
- perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and ensure roadworthiness
- use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues
- MOT testing and keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
Requirements
- proven experience as an MOT tester/ Mechanic, preferably in a garage or workshop setting
- strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent problem-solving skills
- relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds 4 equivalent would be advantageous
- vehicle mechanic: 1 year
- job Type: Full-time
- pay: Up to £42,000.00 per year
