Responsibility
- ➢ Provide support to the Registered Manager and undertake management, administration and care duties as directed
- ➢ Support the Registered Manager in the performance and development of staff by conducting regular supervisions and annual appraisals
- ➢ Contribute to placement planning and participate in reviews and other meetings. Write and edit reports
- ➢ Ensure delivery of all key worker responsibilities, including the delivery of direct work
- ➢ Ensure Local Authority Social Workers are notified of all significant events, incidents, important changes and physical interventions within 24 hours
- ➢ Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in our care through the delivery of a safe, structured, and nurturing environment and immediately report any unsafe practices, conditions, or concerns
- ➢ Engage our children who display challenging behaviour and utilise a variety of behaviour management strategies
- ➢ Ensure on-going assessment of our children’s individual and collective needs, be able to evidence achievements including the use of outcomes measuring tools
