knowledge of upholstery, fabrics and creation
upholstery experience to include chairs, sofas and stools
soft furnishings, curtains and draperies
traditional Upholstery and re-upholstery
proven experience in furniture upholstery
strong knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials
ability to interpret design specifications and work independently
attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination

ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy
follow health and safety instructions provided and safeguard your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions
skills & Qualifications
conduct Furniture & Upholstery repairs to a high standard in customers homes
document all inspections and repairs of work carried out
repair and restore as necessary, upholstery and furniture in commercial premises
to inspect and repair as necessary upholstery furniture items in customer’s homes
ensure all repairs meet the required quality standards
cut and sew on site
to produce written reports for company and client
meet and exceed all customer expectations and provide a high level of customer service
undertake other reasonable activities as required including travel
to manage customer expectations and provide product maintenance advice
provide excellent customer service and rapport
upholstering furniture pieces with precision and attention to detail
repairing and replacing upholstery materials
ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and meeting production targets
