  • liverpool, L24 1YA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
  • proven experience as a Tailor or Seamstress

  • proven experience as a Bridal and Occasion Dressmaker, demonstrating proficiency in cutting, garment construction and assembly
  • exceptional attention to detail and precision in both measurements and sewing
  • excellent knowledge of different fabrics, their characteristics, and appropriate handling methods
  • ability to interpret patterns and follow instructions accurately

Responsibility


  • stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and techniques to ensure that our designs remain fresh and competitive in the market
  • perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, including but not limited to pants, shirts, dresses, suits, and jackets
  • take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit
  • sew, hem, and stitch garments using appropriate techniques and equipment
  • replace zippers, buttons, and other fasteners as needed
  • collaborate with customers to understand their specific alteration requests
  • provide recommendations on garment alterations based on customer preferences and body types
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
  • ensure all products are made to the highest quality at all times
  • strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and stitching
  • measure and cut fabric and other materials based on patterns and designs
  • sew and assemble garments according to customer specifications using a sewing machine
  • utilize industrial sewing machines and other tools to craft garments with precision
  • use various sewing techniques and equipment to create high-quality garments
  • perform alterations and adjustments to garments as required
  • follow pinning and written sewing instructions accurately
  • check for defects in the finished product
  • meet production deadlines while ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting efficiency and creativity
