security Clearance Required – SC security clearance but the client will sponsor suitable candidates
prepare, produce and maintain project documentation as required by the design lifecycle, produce and update ‘as built’ /datum pack documentation
liaise with colleagues and stakeholders during design lifecycle to ensure coordination and functionality of design, including contribution to design reviews
produce electrical system designs for access control projects, including electrical rack and panel design, low-voltage distribution systems, and safety input/output loops
utilise AutoCAD and other electrical CAD software to create schematics, hook-ups, and essential electrical design documentation
procure equipment and components through commercial suppliers
supervise internal and contract design staff, ensuring the quality of their work
contribute to hazard analysis and risk assessment exercises
participate in design reviews and system verification and validation
maintain and update engineering drawings and documentation for projects
ensure designs comply with relevant British, European, international, and company standards
