Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- duties will also include carrying out various non-specialist building maintenance tasks
- fire Alarm & Emergency lighting testing of the site, inspection of extinguishers throughout site
- to close / update completed PPM tasks on the maintenance schedule
- ensure engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operation effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems
- to ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects
- ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
- to carry out planned and reactive maintenance. Including, but not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical/mechanical/fluid power systems
- maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works
Requirements
- NVQ/HNC/ONC in electrical or mechanical principles,Experience working safely and competently with electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems
- experience of working safely and competently with welding and fabrication
- experience of working safely and competently with hot and cold systems
- experience of working safely and competently with pressure systems
- experience of working with purchasing systems
- must be computer literate, using basic Microsoft package
- good communication skills, Working with a team and also lone work
- self-motivated
