We have a great opportunity for a support engineer to join a company that provides customer experience software. You will be providing industry-specific software solutions, for incidents, problems and service requests from creation to resolution. Role Overview: The Customer Support Engineer will provide responsive and technically competent support on company solutions. You will diagnose and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests, collaborating with various resolver groups to meet SLAs and KPI targets. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to enhancing our customer's experience and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Respond to events detected through remote monitoring and incidents reported by customers. Diagnose and provide timely resolutions to incidents, minimising their impact within agreed SLAs. Conduct technical investigations through research, replication, log captures, and real-time event analysis. Collaborate with resolver groups to find comprehensive solutions while retaining ownership of problems. Fulfil service requests related to custom dialogues, prompts, and system configurations. Provide technical information to customers on product features, configurations, and operations. Deploy software hot fixes and system upgrades to maintain systems, potentially outside of business hours. Maintain detailed records of fault progression and resolution in the service management system. Contribute to the service knowledge management system by creating and enhancing documentation. Occasionally undertake customer and company premise site visits as needed. Skills and Knowledge: Strong technical customer-facing experience with excellent telephone etiquette. Calm and logical approach to assessing and resolving new faults. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Positive, self-motivated team player with a "Can-Do" attitude.
