- monitor customer payment performance
- utilise negotiation skills to engage with customers and recommend work-out strategies to line management
- arrange collection of payment via third parties where appropriate
- escalate issues and complaints in a timely manner, in accordance with company processes and regulatory requirements
- reconcile incoming payments
- deal with customer service enquiries via telephone and email
Requirements
- demonstrable strong payment collection experience
- excellent attention to detail, organised and ability to effectively prioritise workload
- good negotiation and general communication skills
- experience in using MS Office systems
- experience of working within a small business
- experience of ‘Xero’ accounting system
- you will have a proven track record in successful Credit Control, Debt Collection and B2B experience
