Responsibility
- record daily payments received from customers and clients
- reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit cards
- prepare and submit VAT returns
- liaise with external accountants and tax professionals
- process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- prepare payments for the director's approval and payment
- maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- communicate financial information to various departments within the company
Requirements
- minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- proficiency in QuickBooks Online would be an advantage
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- understanding of basic accounting principles and tax regulations
- ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
