Responsibility
- measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- cut or saw boards, timbers, and plywood to required size, using hand and power saws
- shape materials to prescribed measurements, using chisels, planes, and power tools
- assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue
- install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches and door locks
Requirements
- able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role
- have a flexible approach to work and able to work overtime to suit the business demands if and when required
- be able to adapt and overcome issues that arise on site
- have excellent communication skills and a positive, can do attitude
- be able to work to deadlines and plan accordingly to meet said deadlines
- follow and promote our company health and safety policies
- full driving license
