Responsibility
- supporting the UK regional business with all finance and accounting activity
- managing x4 direct reports- all Financial Operations Accountants
- responsible for all finance operations in the UK business working as part of the global Group Finance function
- accountable for operational accounting transactions under IFRS and UK GAAP including EPM reporting monthly/annually
- legal entity reporting and production of legal financial reports for UK GAAP audits and sign offs by Managing Directors
- supporting and driving process changes
- global Accounting Network are partnered with an international leading independent energy company to source a Finance & Accounting Operations Manager
- this is an excellent opportunity to mange a robust team and act as the interlink between Business Operations and Accounting
Requirements
- qualified Accountant
- experience in industry
- people management and development skills
- IFRS and UK GAAP
- statutory Accounting experience
- strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management are required
