Responsibility
the Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring all product compliance against specification and quality
standards prior to delivery through regular independent inspections
travel is a requirement of the role, due to the company operating on two sites in Scunthorpe and Wisbech

Requirements
an experienced Quality Control Engineer with sound knowledge of root cause analysis, product inspections, ISO 9001 and so on
background in managing Type approval and CoP is highly desirable
experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is critical
qualified welding inspector is highly desirable
understanding of basic LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies
understanding of quality management tools such as 8d, 5 whys, FMEA, ishikawa fishbone diagrams, fault tree analysis etc
formal quality control qualification such as City & Guilds in assessment and quality assurance would be advantageous
strong character, not afraid to raise examples of poor quality within a team
