senior engineer
Responsibility
- design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Express, SQL and Sequelize
- build and optimize REST API endpoints to ensure efficient data exchange between the server and client applications
- debug and troubleshoot complex issues and provide efficient solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our systems
- fliplet is a leading software company that specializes in developing innovative solutions for building mobile apps and enterprise applications
- work with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development with the engineering team
- our platform empowers businesses to create and deploy custom apps quickly and efficiently
- stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve our platform
- have on-call responsibilities in rotation with the engineering team
Requirements
- excellent communication skills demonstrated through effective reasoning, managing expectations & deliverables
- experience of working in fast-paced environments
- experience implementing encryption, authentication, authorization and caching mechanisms to backend
- experience following the OWASP recommendations when building systems
- basic experience with Docker or similar systems
- 5+ years’ experience as a backend software engineer working with Node.js
- 5+ years experience with Node.js and Express
- 5+ years experience PostgreSQL and Sequelize
