Responsibility

  • member of FST Senior Management Team with responsibility to contribute to the effective operations of Woolwich as a whole
  • to ensure the garage is commercially viable without compromising on the values underpinning FST
  • close liaison with FST Training section to ensure effective delivery of training to the workforce
  • maintenance of good relations with local community agencies, funders and referring agencies
  • oversight and management of day to day operations of activities undertaken at Woolwich including staff supervision and support, workforce development, I.T., finance health and safety and building premises
  • to work in accordance within the limits and parameters as set out in FST’s policies and procedures, the Board, Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer
  • FST’s operations are overseen by the Chief Operating Officer. The General Manager will have direct line management responsibility for the Garage Manager and Finance Section Manager
