Responsibility

  • service, fault-finding & maintenance of CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and emergency lighting Systems
  • good fault-finding skills and ability to resolve technical issues
  • take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
  • carry out effective communications with the client and management team
  • work closely with other engineers and provide support to more junior members of the team
  • installation and commissioning of fire and security systems, emergency lighting, gas suppression, fire extinguishers and monitoring elements of watermist and sprinkler system pump houses and flow pipework
  • to participate in a call out rota
  • field based role

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • driving license required
  • able to work alone and be able to fault find confidently on most if not all systems
  • be able to pass an enhanced security check
  • confident and presentable face to face with good customer skills and clean professional attitude always
  • be able to travel nationally at short notice, early starts, late finishes and staying away occasionally
