- supporting educational and therapeutic interventions tailored to each learner
- contributing to individualised education plans and goal setting
- full time or Term time, farm based, at one of our sites, including in Liss and/or Guildford
- delivering workshops, structured learning, and activities for individuals and small groups
- providing outreach support for students who may need additional assistance in attending or engaging in education
- this includes working with complex needs and behaviours, including emotional, social, behavioural, learning and mental health needs
- keeping accurate records to ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and professional standards
- providing informal coaching/training for apprentices and junior staff
Requirements
- degree or relevant higher education qualification OR significant experience working with young people
- degree or higher education in a relevant field or extensive experience working with vulnerable children and young people
- at least 3 years of experience in a direct support role
- at least 3 years’ experience of direct client work
- experience of working with SEND, SEMH, or alternative education settings
- qualifications and experience in AAT or Equine Assisted therapy is beneficial
- capable of establishing and maintaining constructive interpersonal relationships within the organisation
- experience in delivering structured learning activities
