• carry out any decorating repairs required both inside and outside of the property

• apply paint and wallpaper including special papers and fabrics to walls, furniture and structures
• prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, shading stains and clear finishes
• undertake minor repair works and general maintenance activities
• carry out all maintenance requests in regards to guest rooms, public areas and all other hotel areas
• use and maintain all relevant hand and power hand tools, and workshop equipment in a safe effective manner
• monitor decorating material stock and procure new stock as required
• undertake both responsive and planned maintenance of painting and decoration
