Responsibility
- programming, setting and operating XYZ Proturn RLX control and 3/4/5 axis milling machines using Heidenhain / Fanuc controls
- programming, setting and operating XYZ Proturn RLX control / 3 axis milling machines using Heidenhain / Fanuc controls
- ensuring company health and safety policies are adhered to
- setting and operating Doosan Puma lathes with live tooling and SMX mill/turn machine using Fanuc
- program off line using FeatureCAM
- read and understand technical drawings
- must be able to machine to a high level of accuracy and work on own initiative
- programming and operating Doosan Puma milling/turning Machines using Fanuc
Requirements
- time served recognised apprenticeship
- must have previous experience of setting and operating Fanuc controlled lathes
- must have previous experience of programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled lathes
- must have proven experience as a CNC turner or miller
- must have proven experience as a CNC turner
- the ability to use a variety of inspection measuring equipment
- enthusiastic and persistent, with drive for continuous improvement
- strong communication skills, demonstrable at all levels
