Responsibility
work closely with clients and law enforcement to ensure timely receipt of exhibits
manage CYFOR’s secure couriers and Fleet of cars for the effective, efficient and timely collection of exhibits
handle and store evidence in a methodical manner, ensuring exhibit traceability and security is prioritised
undertake regular audits of the evidence store in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring any discrepancies are reported, investigated and resolved
documenting and managing movements of evidence into and out of Head office, both physical and electronic, recording details timely and accurately in our CRM systems
co-ordinating the return of exhibits to clients, or the destruction/deletion of exhibits, where necessary in accordance with data retention policies and legal undertakings
manage the Fleet of cars on a daily basis, managing the allocation for the requirements of Couriers, On sites and the Commercial team
the Evidence & Logistics Manager is primarily responsible for managing and documenting the collection, receipt, storage, return and/or destruction of all evidence items in compliance with ACPO guidelines, the Forensic Science Regulator’s Codes of Conduct and Practice and relevant ISO standards
