Responsibility
- set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
- interpret drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations
- select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for each job
- monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary
- inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience as a CNC setter operator or similar role
- strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings
