Responsibility

• construct, assemble, and install wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications
• measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping
• cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials using hand tools and power tools

• fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, and staircases
• build scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed
• ensure all work is completed accurately and meets quality standards

Requirements

• proven experience as a joiner or carpenter
• roof construction and repair experience is a plus
• proficient in working with various materials including wood, masonry, and metal

• ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• strong knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles
• knowledge of masonry work for bricklaying or tiling projects
• ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• painting skills for finishing surfaces as required
• familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
• basic plumbing skills for installation of fixtures if needed
• basic understanding of electrical systems for installation purposes
• joinery: 4 years
