Responsibility
- supervising and supporting junior staff members
- working with a key child, playing a pivotal role in their day-to-day life
- attending reviews and liaising with other professionals as part of the wider team ensuring children achieve their aspirations and full potential
- assisting with creation and maintenance of placement and risk management plans
- working closely and assist our experienced Home Manager to lead a successful staff team and run all day-to-day operations of the home
- to take on senior responsibilities such as the Manager deems appropriate
- assisting the Registered Manager to ensure the safety of all children, young people, and staff – including ensuring that safeguarding practice, procedures, and recording all regulatory requirements and professional expectations
Requirements
- diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce
- A Full Manual UK Driver’s Licence
- A commitment to personal development
- experience working with Young People within a residential environment
- support Worker: 1 year
