Working hours

  • full-time | Part-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • supervising and supporting junior staff members
  • working with a key child, playing a pivotal role in their day-to-day life
  • attending reviews and liaising with other professionals as part of the wider team ensuring children achieve their aspirations and full potential
  • assisting with creation and maintenance of placement and risk management plans
  • working closely and assist our experienced Home Manager to lead a successful staff team and run all day-to-day operations of the home
  • to take on senior responsibilities such as the Manager deems appropriate
  • assisting the Registered Manager to ensure the safety of all children, young people, and staff – including ensuring that safeguarding practice, procedures, and recording all regulatory requirements and professional expectations

Requirements

  • diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce
  • A Full Manual UK Driver’s Licence
  • A commitment to personal development
  • experience working with Young People within a residential environment
  • support Worker: 1 year
