- communicate actions and activities to Chief Engineer, Department Managers, Operators, and staff
- responding to breakdowns in a timely and professional manner
- diagnosing faults and provide, and where agreed implement long terms root cause corrective actions
- supervising engineering and technical staff where required based upon knowledge and experience
- perform checking, repairing, servicing and maintenance on machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures to ensure site operations and services operate smoothly and reliably
- ensure that Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and to maintain a safe and clean work environment
