management accountant
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- production of monthly managements accounts and annual financial statements
- management of all month end processes including accruals and prepayments
- completion of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- variance analysis and associated commentary
- oversight of monthly payroll processing and associated accounting/reconciliations
- management of client invoicing processes
- production of quarterly VAT Returns
- monitoring cash balances and producing cash forecasts
Requirements
- qualified/part-qualified accountant, qualified by experience or AAT qualified
- excellent attention to detail
- working knowledge of payroll and VAT
- proficiency using accounting software
- solid time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- experience managing a small team preferred but not essential
- knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau/Power BI would be a distinct advantage
