operations manager
Responsibility
- use business experience to work with our customers and key stakeholders to deliver successful operational performance
- oversee exceptional service delivery by the Operations Team through mentorship and development of Emergency Operations Specialists, including setting of work patterns
- be a source of guidance and best practice for the Operations Team and assist in problem solving / solution identification

- identify and escalate operational performance challenges within AMI-GA to the Operations Manager including planning for improvement
- project manage change initiatives including key stakeholder engagement
- assist in delivery of AMI-GA's strategic objectives
- take Emergency calls when necessary, in or out of hours
- promote AMI-GA's brand and values to enhance AMI-GA's reputation in the industry
- contribute to identification and design of business change and process improvement initiatives based on understanding of the travel and medical assistance industry
- ability to work on a rota basis covering shifts 24/7
- develop and monitor Management Information to enhance the understanding of operational business performance and to allow identification of improvement areas / success of change initiatives
Requirements
- experience in a leadership role
- successful track record with collaborating and influencing a wide range of stakeholders across business areas
- experience with continuous improvement processes

- 5+ years’ experience in the medical and travel assistance industry
- excellent analytical, problem solving, and organisational abilities
- good understanding of how an administrative setting operates and knowing what is required at any given time
