Responsibility

  • we are seeking an organised and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Active Health Chiropractic Clinic based in Cosham, Portsmouth
  • open and prepare the Clinic for the day ahead
  • greet customers and demonstrate exemplary customer service and care throughout each appointment
  • greet patients and make them feel welcome
  • scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's calendar
  • manage a Computer-based diary, data base and accounts
  • answering and directing phone calls in a professional and timely manner
  • make and alter appointment bookings on the computer

Requirements

  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to learn, develop and progress
  • proven ability to work well in a team
  • experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • an ease and enjoyment of communicating with others face-to-face, on the phone, via text and e-mail is essential
  • administrative experience: 1 year
  • A comfort in looking after infants and the elderly will be essential as we welcome patients of all ages

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent
