Responsibility
- contribute to Zoro UK’s software architecture by providing solutions to technical problems
- lead projects and feature teams
- review PRs, ensure they are well written and that they fulfil the acceptance criteria
- refactor or optimise Zoro’s Codebases to a higher standard
- introduce new technologies that can be used by the whole team
- mentoring junior and mid-level developers
- implement secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities, mitigate security risks and write clean and maintainable code to meet quality standards
- participate in peer code reviews to identify and resolve defects
Education
- exceptional understanding of functional and reactive programming
- extensive experience with React, Redux, Hooks, frontend frameworks
- extensive experience with NoSQL DBs, particularly Mongo, Elastic Search
- experience with CSS and other web styling approaches
- extensive experience using testing frameworks
- extensive experience with NodeJS, server-side software development
- experience with AWS ecosystem. Lambdas, api-gateways, sqs, sns, ecs
- experience with Docker
