YRH FINANCE TEAM is looking for employees for positions:

management accountant

Working hours

  • part-time

Responsibility

  • preparing basic monthly management accounts; P&L & Balance Sheet
  • assisting in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and other journal entries and adjustments
  • VAT returns; completing, submitting, dealing with HMRC
  • updating billing and forecast reports
  • posting sales & purchase invoices and reconciling and maintaining the purchase & sales ledger
  • payroll; monthly calculations, payments, submissions to HMRC and pension company
  • working pattern: Part time - 4 days per week
  • managing credit control; reporting, escalating, making claims as necessary

Requirements

  • highly computer literate
  • advanced knowledge and experience of Xero , including building reports
  • understanding of PAYE & NIC, experience running a payroll
  • at least 5 years working in SME businesses, in a Management Accountant role
  • ability to work to deadlines
  • self-motivated and self-managing
  • fully qualified or part qualified or QBE 5+ years
  • excellent numerical skills
