maintain positive and professional relationships between the company, our pool of freelancers and key logistical subcontractors
ensure our venues receive accurate logistical information in the correct format and within agreed deadlines
provide effective management, mentoring and development of the Logistics Team to develop a high-performance culture by championing best practices and professional development
have ownership of the company’s Logistics processes, ensuring the resources provided for each project are identified and planned for in good time and the processes provide for the efficient and timely delivery of information
manage workloads across the department to ensure colleagues are properly supported, especially at busy times or during periods of annual leave
maintain strong relationships across other departments to ensure resource needs are identified for each project and any change of requirements are communicated immediately
manage internal logistics IT systems/databases and ensure all key documentation relating to freelancers is kept up-to-date and GDPR regulations are adhered to
maintain close working relationships with Projects team to ensure accurate information relating to crew and freelancer rates and availability is communicated in good time
Requirements
strong team leadership skills with an ability to inspire, support and mentor a busy team of event production professionals
first Aid at Work
experience of logistical planning in an events production company
comfortable with creating – Managing POs for freelancers using Xero, and associated admin post-job
excellent administration skills across a range of programmes; flexibility and adept at learning new ways of working when required
good written and verbal communication skills across departments, freelancers and other stakeholders, such as subcontractors and venue contacts
high attention to detail; strong verbal and numeracy skills Excellent time management skills, ability to continually prioritise work during busy periods – on a day to day basis, including high activity periods, and forward plan effectively
