Responsibility
- conduct internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, fabrication, glass & brittle plastic, and HACCP audits, ensuring compliance and identifying trends
- verify CCPs and assess competency in procedures, contributing to performance evaluations
- investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances, taking corrective actions as needed
- perform diverse product testing , ensuring quality standards
- release WIP products for production, conduct finished product label checks, and inspect raw materials
- investigate out-of-spec results, liaising with the production team for product specification compliance
- manage concessions, log and handle supplier non-conformances, and follow the company's quarantine system
- conduct internal calibration and equipment verification, including pH, aw, salt refractometer, and weighing scales
Requirements
- our dream candidate will have a good working knowledge of food preservation techniques and general food technology
- happy working in a busy, fast-moving and complex environment
- to be successful in this QA Auditor role, you will need a hands on and can-do attitude, with good communication, troubleshooting, computer and admin skills
