WEFLEX is looking for employees for positions:
financial controller
Responsibility
- spearhead the financial operations, infusing technology and automation to streamline processes
- monthly preparation and submission of VAT returns for all group companies • Review the monthly payroll
- as part of the Finance Leadership Team, provide direction to the broader finance team, contribute to the development of the finance function
- ownership, implementation and advice on accounting policies
- drive the development and delivery of the Group’s financial planning activities, including short and long-term plans, annual budgets and reforecasts; challenging the status quo and leading initiatives to deliver a more effective and efficient function
- drive the development of the finance reporting solutions, ensuring tools, analysis, models and data are delivered in order to support the wider business’ needs by adopting and to support our growth trajectory
- uphold impeccable standards in financial reporting and accounting standards compliance, acting as the custodian of financial integrity
- accountable for the preparation of management reports for the leadership team, the Board, investors, and debt providers, supporting analysis and insight through partnering with other functional leaders, coordinating their forecasts and controlling the overall position for the business
Requirements
- at least 5 years post qualification, ideally within the finance sector and automotive or related sector
- mastery in financial planning, analysis, and the deployment of technology in financial operations
- A strategic mindset, with an ability to have a long-term vision with an eye on detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving
- comfort in a fast-paced changing environment and entrepreneurial setting where sustainability is the core
- stellar communication and relationship-building abilities
- A hands on accountant, ACA trained and qualified with a Big 4, with experience of working in a scale up or other fast-growing company environment
- experience of working in a regulated environment and a proactive stance on compliance
- A track record of effectively managing multiple priorities and stringent deadlines
