• creating and developing original design ideas, concepts, embroideries, fabrications and seasonal themes for Outerwear
• sourcing of relevant fabrics to meet the design requirements
• developing original themes for seasonal collections

• creating specs/tech packs for factories
• creating specs/tech packs for our factories
• extra responsibility for own account
• ensuring critical path is adhered to, and keep on top of all key dates
• liaising with factories and overseas offices
• participating in inspiration and sourcing trips
• creating relationships with buyers
• inspiration and sourcing trips abroad
• managing returns and supporting with team admin
• office tidiness / keeping on top of Production room / fabric sorting
• trend packs /colour inspiration
• managing expenses and returns
• post – handing out to relevant teams / hanging up new samples
• assisting all members of the team
• monday trend/inspo boards for weekly meeting on a rota

Requirements

• educated to degree level with a minimum 2.1 degree in Fashion or other related subject
• creative and trend driven with a good eye for colour and fabric
• flexible and able to travel

• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• graphic design: 1 year
• team player and able to build relationships
• ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• +3 years minimum background in Design
• to be able to deal with all challenges in a calm and positive manner
