Requirements
educated to degree level with a minimum 2.1 degree in Fashion or other related subject or equivalent practical attainment
educated to degree level with a minimum 2.1 degree in Fashion or other related subject
experience working within a fashion brand
creative and trend driven with a good eye for colour and fabric
flexible and able to travel
attentive to detail with the ability to think creatively
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
graphic design: 1 year
senior designer
Responsibility
creating and developing original design ideas and concepts
working with key suppliers to source relevant or new fabrics
creating design packs quickly and efficiently, with all key information included
leading trend and colour forecasts and presentations
managing and developing junior members of the team
liaising with Account Managers/ buyers regularly in order to ensure the development arrives in a timely manner
liaising with factories and overseas offices
organising work travel with suppliers and creating sourcing packs for development on the trip
Requirements
+6 years minimum background in design
garment technologist

understanding of manufacturing, textiles, garment construction, seam construction, pattern cutting, and garment cycle process
ability to convey technical information to factories in a clear concise way
exceptional eye for technical detail to ensure quality standards are upheld
ability to work independently
flexible approach to be able to adjust to changing needs of the business
highly organised with good prioritisation skills
ability to work to tight deadlines
Responsibility
maintaining an organised environment ensuring all samples are stored in their correct areas for ease of access
following the critical path, chasing, and logging sample submissions and packaging details from suppliers Updating the weekly Critical Path meeting spreadsheet
reviewing fits and returns information, to improve fit and quality standards
