Our mission at VioVet is to help nurture the amazing connection that people share with their animals by always offering professional advice, friendly support and carefully selected products for the health, wellbeing and happiness of customer pets and horses.We are currently recruiting for a Assistant Warehouse Manager based in our modern office and warehouse in Luton.The Assistant Warehouse Manager has overall responsibility to support the Warehouse Manager for the efficient running of the Warehouse and its multiple complicated processes. They will manage stock from the point it arrives to the point it is dispatched, ensuring multiple KPIs are achieved. They will directly manage the 20+ team of TLs, Supervisors and Operatives, helping them to achieve their own KPIs whilst contributing the overall success of the company.Job Duties/Responsibilities: Manage the Warehouse to ensure a fast, efficient & accurate service for our customers.Motivate Team Leaders & Supervisors to ensure their team members achieve productivity targetsDeal with any issues quickly and effectivelyEnsure warehouse hygiene standards are adhered toReport to the Warehouse Manager regularly on the performance of the teamBe responsible for dispatch numbers, ensuring KPIs are achieved around dispatch timesMonitor and reorder all warehouse supplies and consumablesOther duties as assignedEducation/Experience: 3+ years’ warehouse management experience3+ years’ people management experience5+ years’ general warehouse experienceExperience of working in a B2C/retail warehouseRequired Qualifications (Certifications, Licenses, Software Programs, KSA’s):
Responsibility: motivate Team Leaders & Supervisors to ensure their team members achieve productivity targets, ensure warehouse hygiene standards are adhered to, be responsible for dispatch numbers, ensuring KPIs are achieved around dispatch times, other duties as assigned
Education: 3+ years’ warehouse management experience, 3+ years’ people management experience, 5+ years’ general warehouse experience, experience of working in a B2C/retail warehouse
Requirements: project management, time management, & organisation skills, must be comfortable standing 100% of the time, be able to lift up to 30kg constantly, must be physically able to move around a warehouse carrying heavy goods
