- providing a professional physical security presence
- undertaking a thorough inspection and patrols throughout the site
- meeting and greeting visitors and representing both Venture Security and English Heritage in an exemplary manner
- controlling entry to the site and challenging trespassers as required
- monitoring in-house CCTV
- recording and reporting incidents, security and safety concerns through operational software
- we are looking for a professional SIA Security Supervisor to join our Stonehenge security team, near Salisbury in Wiltshire. Working as part of a team, this role is all about the protection of a world heritage site and the people who maintain it
Requirements
- priority will be given to those who hold a Public Space Surveillance licence
- SIA licence renewal and top-up training will be arranged for the successful candidate as an upskilling potential
- previous experience in leading a team whilst working as part of the team
- the Security Officer at this site must have a valid SIA licence, ideally a Door Supervisor ; Security Guarding and Close Protection are also eligible for this role and further training will be provided
- security officers at this site must have a valid SIA licence, either Security Guarding , Door Supervision or Close Protection
- previous experience in static security work would be beneficial but not essential as full initial and ongoing training will be provided
- priority will be given to those with a Public Space Surveillance licence, although training and licencing can be arranged for the right candidate as required
- must have a current and active SIA licence
