Responsibility
- build, upgrade, and maintain CCTV and security systems
- support Apprentices in their skills and career growth
- engage in training to ensure up to date knowledge of product
- maintain and adhere to Health & Safety Regulations at all times
- plan and undertake scheduled routine maintenance checks and upgrades
- communicate effectively with the team, customers and third parties taking ownership of user requests and escalating more complex service issues to the relevant team member when required
- reporting on Faults and Issues
Requirements
- A good understanding of configuring network switches, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment
- knowledge of Dahua/Uniview/Ajax security systems and products
- being self-motivated and organised
- working to deadlines
- A logical approach to problem solving
- analytical skills
- 3 years minimum experience working in the Security industry as a Security Engineer. Telecoms, Fire, or other non-Security experience will not be considered
- communicating effectively via email, phone and in person working both independently and as a team
