- liaising with Production to help coordinate both departments in meeting the despatch needs of the business
- investment requirements are proposed to the Directors in a timely manner with a full and detailed rationale
- vehicle insurance costs are minimised
Requirements
- the premises are well maintained
- all maintenance and servicing requirements are met
- all legal requirements are being complied with
- appropriate resource is employed to meet these needs
- all staff are suitably trained where relevant
- all preventative maintenance requirements are put in place and are fully monitored and performed
- all necessary maintenance is performed to an appropriate level
- ensuring adequate critical spares and parts are held in order to minimise downtime
